Restaurant Savvy

Restaurants are getting social. Lafitte used to stream live cooking - now they feature how-to videos, Una Pizza has a sexy pizza-making video and Laconda tweets dinner prep to get meat-lovers salivating. Laconda has a live Twitter feed on their homepage and a fast, real-time reservation engine that is has no relation to Opentable. And I appreciate that Laconda doesn't "farm drop" on their menu.

I often take covert photos of San Franciscans on my ride home. Two nights ago I spotted this really good-looking but friendly (!) guy with awesome style. I loved his pack and took a (rather crappy) photo to share with the design team at Timbuk2. The next morning my sister posted a photo of my nephew in the exact same outfit. Doppelganger!
